Opera Anywhere is delighted to present Così fan tutte, a new, vibrant production of Mozart’s comedy masterpiece directed by Tristan Stocks. This hilarious farce, edited and adapted in English, brings the timeless story to life with a unique twist.
Set in early 20th-century Gibraltar, a bold bet is placed between Don Alfonso, Ferrando and Guglielmo. Don Alfonso wagers that he can prove their girlfriends, Fiordiligi and Dorabella, are unfaithful, like “all women”. As the men ‘leave’ for war, two handsome strangers arrive on a mission of seduction. But how will the girlfriends react? Full of mischief and larks, be prepared to be swept away with stunning music and clever wit, as the story unfolds to reveal themes of love, fidelity and deception.
