Dr Steve Tibble is a graduate of Cambridge and London Universities and holds honorary positions at Royal Holloway, University of London and the University of Kent. He is one of the leading historians working on the Crusades and medieval military history, and has contributed to both The Oxford Illustrated History of the Crusades and The Cambridge History of the Crusades. His books include The Crusader Armies, The Crusader Strategy, Templars: The Knights Who Made Britain, and Crusader Criminals: The Knights Who Went Rogue in the Holy Land. Known for making complex scholarship accessible and entertaining, Steve is a popular speaker who brings the medieval world vividly to life for modern audiences.
