Dr Mark Aldridge is Associate Professor of Screen Histories at Southampton Solent University and an acknowledged expert on the works of Agatha Christie. He is the author of several books on Christie and her cultural legacy, including Agatha Christie on Screen and Agatha Christie's Poirot: The Greatest Detective in the World. His latest book, The Swinging Christies (co-authored with Gray Robert Brown), will be published next year.
Mark is a regular speaker on Christie and crime fiction, and has contributed to television, radio and documentary programmes exploring the life and work of the world's most famous mystery writer.
